To participate in the adult programs Goshen Community Schools offers, students must be at least 16 years old. Programs include:

At Goshen High School
- When: Tuesdays and Thursdays during school year 4:00-8:00 p.m. and come and go as necessary during class hours. Classe s begin any time from late August to May.
- Where: Room 1140
At Chamberlain Elementary School
- When: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Come and go as necessary during class hours.
- Where: Enter through the front door and follow the GED/Adult Ed signs.
- Special Instructions: Morning students need to sign in and get a visitor's badge at the office. This site also offers GED preparation and practice tests in Spanish.
On the date you are scheduled to come to orientation, come at 6:00 p.m. It is important to be on time.
Please come to Goshen High School, Room 1100, in the front of the building on the first floor. Each examinee needs to bring $60 in cash and 3 forms of identification (one with your picture.) If you are 17 years old, also bring the scores from your successfully completed GED practice exam and your exit interview form.
At orientation, you will need to arrive by 6:00 p.m. You will pay your fee and get a receipt. You will have your three ID's photocopied (bring them each time). You will fill out some paperwork for the GED testing service. You will see a video about the Casio solar calculator you will be using during the math exam.
You may have 35 calendar days to complete the exam. It will take a minimum of two weeks. The scores will come back in 6-8 weeks and will be mailed to you.
