Summer 2010 Technology Training Opportunities at GCS:

See chart below for technology training opportunities this summer at GCS. There are stipend funds available from grants to pay teachers the summer curriculum rate to attend these training sessions. Please register with Jane Iwema in the technology office if you would like to attend. The grade levels of teachers to which the grants apply are in parenthesis under the name of each training. Teachers, college credit courses are often an easier way to plan for license renewal and to improve the quality of instruction.

Check with local colleges and universities for summer workshops and distance learning opportunities.

Olivet Nazarene University will host an Open House information/registration for ONLINE MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMS IN EDUCATION May 11 from 2:30 – 4:30.   There are two Master’s Degree Programs from which to choose (Curriculum and Instruction and School Leadership).  The program is an 18 month program with cohorts starting in June and September.
